Who this guide is for
Business Owners, Sole Traders, Admin, Supervisor, and Finance. Tradies and Apprentices cannot create clients — they see only the clients linked to jobs they are assigned to.
Overview
Create a client record so you can attach quotes, jobs, and invoices to it. You can also create a client inline while building a quote.
Before you start
Have the client’s name, contact name (if there is a person you deal with), email, phone, and site or billing address.
Steps
- In the left sidebar, select Clients.
- Select Add Client.
- Enter the client name, contact name (optional), email, phone, and address.
- Select Save.
Inline while building a quote
- Start a new quote and type a client name MyApprentice does not recognise.
- Enter the client’s email, phone, and site address on the quote.
- Send the quote — the inline-created client becomes a permanent record in the Client Library once the quote is sent.
What happens next
The client appears in the Client Library and is available for quotes, jobs, invoices, and scheduling.
